La Balise Marina is 30 minutes from Flic en Flac, 45 from Curepipe and Quatre Bornes, about an hour from Port Louis and 1 h 30 from Grand Baie. Free parking at the marina.

Best season

All year. Dolphins every morning, whales July to October, the calmest lagoon from October to April.

Good to know

Show a Mauritian ID or residence permit at the pontoon for the resident rate. Public holiday and weekend dates go first, book a few days ahead. Languages: Kreol, French, English. Prices shown in MUR at the day's rate; pay in rupees, euros, dollars or by card on arrival.
