Are Vallé Wave prices per person or per boat?
All Vallé Wave prices are per boat, for a fully private expedition. The visitor rate includes 2 guests and the Mauritian resident rate includes up to 4 guests. Each additional guest costs Rs 1,000 and the boat takes a maximum of 8 guests, so a group of 8 shares one price.
What is the difference between the resident and visitor rate?
Mauritian residents pay a lower per-boat price that includes up to 4 guests; visitors pay the standard rate that includes 2 guests. Show a Mauritian ID or residence permit at the pontoon for the resident rate. Extra guests cost Rs 1,000 each on both rates.
Do I pay a deposit to book?
No. Booking is free and no deposit is taken. You pay the full amount on arrival at La Balise Marina in rupees, euros or US dollars, by cash or card. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before departure; under 24 hours or a no-show is charged in full.
How much does lunch on the island cost?
Lunch on Île aux Bénitiers costs Rs 1,000 per person for the mixed grill platter or Rs 1,500 for the grill deluxe platter with shrimp skewer, both with flambéed banana or pineapple. Grilled lobster is Rs 1,900 per person. Cold drinks and light bites are included on every expedition.
