Before you board

Do I pay online?

No. Booking is free and you pay at the marina by card or cash. Only gift vouchers are paid upfront.

What if the weather turns?

We decide by 18:00 the evening before and message you on WhatsApp. If we cancel, you choose a refund or a new date.

Is the price per person?

Per boat. The visitor rate includes two guests, the resident rate up to four. Each additional person is Rs 1,000, up to eight. Lunch and add-ons are extra.

Can children come?

Yes, all ages. Under-12s wear life jackets throughout. The 05:00 start suits ages 6 and up.

Can we swim with the dolphins?

No. We follow the Mauritian code: engines off, 50 m distance, no swimming or feeding. You will still be very close.

When are the whales?

Humpbacks pass the west coast from July to October. Dawn Encounter and Ocean Pulse head outside the reef to look for them.

Where do we meet?

La Balise Marina, Rivière Noire, 30 minutes before departure. Free parking at the marina.

Can I cancel?

Free up to 48 hours before departure. Under 24 hours or no-show is charged in full.
