Dolphins are seen most mornings in Tamarin Bay on the west coast of Mauritius. Vallé Wave departs La Balise Marina in Rivière Noire at 05:00 and 05:30, reaches the bay at first light, switches engines off and lets the spinner and bottlenose dolphins approach the boat.
Humpback whales pass the west coast of Mauritius from July to October. On Dawn Encounter and Ocean Pulse the skipper heads outside the reef when the sea allows. Dolphins are present all year. Sightings are never guaranteed and the boat follows the Mauritian dolphin code.

Per boat. The visitor rate includes two guests, the resident rate up to four. Each additional person is Rs 1,000, up to eight. Lunch and add-ons are extra.
Yes, all ages. Under-12s wear life jackets throughout. The 05:00 start suits ages 6 and up.
No. We follow the Mauritian code: engines off, 50 m distance, no swimming or feeding. You will still be very close.
